WHY AGGELER OPPORTUNITY HS IS RIGHT FOR YOU.
BY: D.L-R.
Chatsworth is a beautiful place to live in my opinion. There's malls around, good places to eat, and a lot of fun things to do in the area. But what about school? Chatsworth High School is always a good option, but some kids prefer a smaller environment. Maybe they focus better in a small environment, just like to be around less people or they might be struggling to succeed in school. If so, Aggeler High School might be the option for your child.
Aggeler High School is located at 21050 Plummer St., Chatsworth, CA. It is right next to the historic boys home, Rancho San Antonio. The opportunity school is named after William Tell Aggeler, and the school teaches grades 7-12th. The teachers and administrators are passionate about giving kids the education they need and deserve. There are many outlets for extra support, like tutoring and counseling.
The school meets and exceeds common core academic standards and helps students build a foundation that they need to become contributing members of society. These school hours are from 8:30 to 2:15. This shorter bell schedule allows students to have more time to focus on their mental health and extracurricular activities.
This school is rated a 3.7/5, which is a pretty good rating for an LAUSD school. Breakfast and lunch is also provided to the mighty mustangs of Aggeler High School. More about this school including upcoming events can be found at the schools official website, https://aggelerhs-lausd-ca.schoolloop.com/. You can also contact them by calling (818) 341-1232. Here's some pictures of the school and its bell schedule.
