GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

 

When a student enrolls at ACDS or AOHS, our school counselor works with the student and parent to develop an Individualized Graduation Plan (IGP). The plan outlines the courses needed to complete all LAUSD requirements and earn a diploma.

BE A PART OF AGGELER HS STUDENT LEADERSHIP!

Students who participate in the leadership class:

  • Become proficient at planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating a variety of student activities.
  • Participate and take notes in class meetings.
  • Establish and carry out goals and objectives for the student government body of the school.
  • Respect the instructors, the elected officers, and all members of the class.
  • Encourage harmony among the different ethnic groups of the school.
  • Set an example for all students of Aggeler High School.
  • Use personal leadership skills to recruit and direct students outside of the leadership program.
  • Assist in the execution of leadership projects and student activities.
  • Develop leadership skills that will be used in the future.

AOHS Pierce Community College Dual Enrollment Opportunities for Spring 2023!

Begin planning for next year’s courses by considering a dual-enrollment or concurrent enrollment class. Dual-enrollment classes enable high school students to take community college classes while attending HS and potentially earn college credit.

There are a number of benefits to dual-enrollment programs. Earning college credit while still in high school - each class offers 10 high school credits and 3 college credits. In addition, these programs will introduce you to the rigors of college coursework in a supportive environment with help from Aggeler HS teachers. Recent studies have shown that students who participate in dual-enrollment programs are more likely go on to get a college degree.
